In Bryanka, Lugansk region, a revolutionary decision was made: a city with the population of 60000 people has completely refused from central heating.
8 boiler stations have already been closed, another 4 will stop working next year. People are being transferred to individual heating, seeing that the city spent huge amounts on repair of the obsolete heating networks yearly. To ensure that the cost of new boilers does not become a burden for the citizens, the authorities install the equipment for free in the pensioners’ houses; the rest are being offered preferential loans.
